Musanze on 6th October 2023

On 6th October 2023, a delegation of 16 Senior Officers and 4 Support Staff from Zambia Defence Forces (ZDF) currently studying at Zambia Defence Services Command and Staff College (ZDSCSC) course 25/2023 led by Col C M MUNACHILEMBA visited RDFCSC Nyakinama.

On arrival at the College, the delegation was welcomed by the College Commandant Brig Gen A NYAMVUMBA, who later briefed them on the College activities. After the brief, the visitors toured the College premises and facilities.

The visit was part of a week-long study tour to Rwanda by the Zambian delegation from 30th September to 7th October 2023. for an education expedition with the aim of covering all aspects of ‘’Expanding roles of the military in the global security environment”.

The visiting delegation was briefed on the vision, mission, and organization of RDFCSC and more specifically, the Junior and Senior Command and Staff Courses.

After the brief, the delegation toured the College facilities

The visit was part of the Zambian College’s program, aiming at cementing students’ understanding of intra-Africa cooperation for sustainable peace, security, and development.
The theme for Zambian’s tour was “Reshaping Africa’s Security Narrative: OPTIMIZING CO-EXISTENCE FOR AFRICA’S APPROACH TO PEACE, SECURITY, AND STABILITY.

The visit was concluded with group photos, sharing tokens of appreciation, and finally signing the Visitors’ Book.
